Cedar Crest

Juliana Delgado was one of 14 Cedar Crest College students who presented their data at the 98th Annual Meeting of the Pennsylvania Academy of Science. An oral presentation was given by Delgado and Kendall Heiney (research advisers Andre Walther and Lindsey Welch), using the oleaginous fungus Cryptococcus neoformans as a source of lipids for the production of biodiesel fuel. They received Spychala Awards Honorable Mention. ••

Renney Thomas has earned a Master of Science in computer science from Georgia Tech. Thomas was among about 5,620 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented degrees during commencement exercises at Bobby Dodd Stadium. ••
